Science and Innovation Link Office (SILO) is a knowledge intensive policy-oriented SME specialised in science and innovation governance, innovation procurement, and knowledge and technology circulation in the international context. SILO has a unique knowledge of the health and biotechnology sector that allows the company to work with hospitals, administrations and innovative companies in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and health technology sectors. The public-private experience at the highest level of the SILO team allows the design, implementation, management and evaluation of tailor-made solutions for all agents of the innovation ecosystem.
SILO leads public procurement of innovation (PPI) studies and supports mainly regional and local governments on the full PPI policy cycle, in areas that include governance design and key stakeholder management as well as guidance on PPI-specific tendering procedures. Likewise, SILO collaborates with top Spanish enterprises and companies’ associations to develop their role and strategies in PPI.
