Established in 1984, ZENIT is a public-private partnership, the shareholders are an association of companies, a consortium of banks and certain regional ministries. ZENIT represents the interface between business, finance and politics and hence plays an important role in regional innovation and SME policy.
ZENIT’s expertise ranges from international business strategy and innovation management to technology transfer and funding. It offers in-depth consulting services to clients for instance by writing project proposals and managing successful proposals in different funding programmes. It also supports companies in finding international partners and hence facilitating international cooperation, possibly paving the way for scaling up.
Since 1987, ZENIT has been a partner in different projects of the European Commission and related networks, e.g. the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN). Since 2012 ZENIT started to foster innovation procurement activities in Germany, even as a partner in several EU projects which are often related to the health sector.
